The makers of Akhanda 2: Thaandavam have released a trailer for the movie. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, the Telugu movie is directed by Boyapati Sreenu.
The movie is set for a worldwide release on December 5, 2025. The sequel to the 2021 movie is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the banner 14 Reels Plus Entertainment. M Tejaswini Nandamuri will present the movie. Koti Paruchuri is the executive producer.
The trailer starts with a warning. A group of evil forces, both inside and outside India, is trying to destroy the country’s spiritual foundation. But when faith begins to shake, Akhanda, the powerful force, rises. He is ready to fight back with strength that feels both mythical and patriotic.
Akhanda 2 stretches beyond borders, mixing national security themes with spiritual subjects. The Kumbh Mela sequence has been one of the talking points of the trailer.
Balakrishna will be seen in two roles, with his Akhanda avatar, marked by the actor’s thunderous dialogues, is touted to be the highlight. Aadhi Pinisetty plays the villain, while Samyuktha plays the female lead. Harshali Malhotra plays a prominent role as well.
C. Ramprasad and Santoshh D. Detakae are the cinematographers while S Thaman is the music composer. Tammiraju has done the editing while AS Prakash has handled the production design. The popular action duo Ram-Lakshman has done the action choreography.
