Jammu, Jul 26: Aarush Gupta, an MBBS student from the 2023 batch of AIIMS Jammu, has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Rashtrapati Scout’ award at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on July 22, 2025.
Representing the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Aarush received the award certificate signed by President Droupadi Murmu for his exceptional service, leadership, and discipline in scouting.
Aarush began his scouting journey in Grade 4 and steadily rose through the ranks. He earned the Rajya Puraskar Award in 2019 and was felicitated by J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in 2021. After qualifying in the President Scout Award Testing Camp in 2022, he was honored nationally this year.
Prof (Dr) Shakti Kumar Gupta, Executive Director, AIIMS Jammu, lauded Aarush’s achievement, calling it a proud moment for the institution. Dr Shruti Sharma, Aarush’s mentor, praised his dedication, describing him as an inspiration for fellow students.
AIIMS Jammu congratulated Aarush Gupta for this national honor and wished him success in his future endeavours.
