Adobe, on Thursday, September 25, announced that its generative-AI-powered moodboarding tool, Firefly Boards, will now be available worldwide. It will also include two AI video models, Runway Aleph and Moonvalley’s Marey, along with new tools like Describe Image, Generative Text Edit (beta), and Presets that offer quicker transition from inspiration to iteration.
In simple words, Firefly Boards is an AI-first platform that has been designed to support photographers, filmmakers, and graphic designers during the ideation stage of their creative processes. It encourages exploration, iteration, and real-time collaboration with industry models, including those from Adobe Firefly and partners like Google and Runway.
Its development follows a successful beta phase within Adobe Firefly, offering insights into the brainstorming methods of creative professionals.
Adobe Firefly has been offering a variety of top-tier generative models, and now it has added Runway Aleph and Moonvalley’s Marey for video in Firefly Boards. The other video models on the platform are Luma AI’s Ray3 and Ray2, Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, Veo 3, Pika 2.2, Flux.1 Kontext, and Runway Gen-4.
According to the software giant, the variety of AI models provides creators with multiple starting points for exploring styles, generating content, and establishing multi-modal workflows.
New subscription options in Firefly
To improve the creator experience, Adobe is renaming its Firefly subscription plans to better credit capacity across Creative Cloud applications and introducing new Firefly Standard, Pro, and Premium plans that offer extra value, including access to Photoshop and Adobe Express Premium.
All plans provide unlimited access to standard features, unlimited canvases, and a growing library of partner models. Creative Cloud Pro members will have access to premium generative AI similar to Firefly plans. For more information, visit the specified link.
