Srinagar, Nov 14: Celebrating the artistic skills and talents of its students, Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial (AAAM) Degree College, Bemina, hosted a talent hunt show on Thursday.
A statement of the AAAM Degree College Bemina issued here said that the event, coinciding with Children’s Day, brought together an impressive array of performances, including music, drama, poetry, and visual arts, a speech contest, and mehandi competition showcasing the creativity and cultural diversity of the college community.
With enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines, the event highlighted both traditional and contemporary art forms.
The talent hunt was a success, drawing an appreciative audience and fostering a sense of unity and pride within the college.
Principal of the college, Prof Yasmeen Farooq inaugurated the event.
She said events of such ilk bring forth the hidden talents of the students and bring laurels to the college through their talent while participating in inter-college or inter-university competitions.
She thanked the participants for presenting their creative abilities in such a wonderful way.
Many faculty members acted as jury members to gauge the creative potential of students in various categories of the event.
Medals and certificates were distributed among the meritorious students on the occasion.
The session was moderated by Riyaz Ahmad Bhat and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Jawaid Ahmad.
