Jammu, Aug 20: Sayeed Mureed Hussain Shah, a social activist and retired senior official along with his supporters from (Mendhar, Poonch) joined BJP at the party Headquarters, in Jammu, a press release said.
Ravinder Raina, President, J&K BJP welcomed the prominent social activist into the party fold. He said that the public welfare schemes launched for the poor and the needy by the Narendra Modi government testify to its commitment to the overall development of its citizens on the lines of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, Sabka Vishwas”.
BJP Minority Morcha President Ranjodh Singh Nalwa was also present on the occasion.
He said that prominent from every field from every area are joining the BJP every day, trusting the policies of the Modi government. “Today, one more prominent personality along with his supporters has joined the party, having witnessed the development taking place even in the far-flung areas, Raina said.
Raina, on the occasion, also added that the residents of Jammu and Kashmir have a strong belief that Jammu and Kashmir will march to greater heights under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and are ready to vote for the BJP’s government in the Assembly elections 2024.
The new entrant thanked the party President for the warm welcome in the party and said that the people are influenced by the development, peace, and progress in Jammu & Kashmir. They have seen the development even in the far-flung areas and the eagerness of the BJP leadership to solve the issues of the needy people who were neglected for decades together. He assured the senior leadership of BJP that he along with his supporters, will work for the welfare of the people in line with the principles of the party.
