Kargil, Aug 03: At least twelve people were injured after a building collapsed in Kabaddi Nullah area of Kargil district in the early hours on Saturday.
An official said that the building collapsed in early hours due to land sinking however a swift rescue operation was carried out by Kargil Police, UTDRF, AJUIAK, Baseej Volunteers to rescue the trapped persons.
Atleast 12 persons injured have been shifted to District Hospital Kargil for medical aid. SSP Kargil Shree Raam along with other officials were monitoring the rescue operation since early morning.
