‘Dhurandhar 2’: The sequel to Ranveer Singh’s intense actioner gets release date

As Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited action-thriller, Dhurandhar was released in theatres today (December 5, 2025), the makers unveiled the release date of its sequel in the post-credits sequence. Dhurandhar 2 will be released in theatres on March 19, 2026.

Written and helmed by URI: The Surgical Strike director (2019) Aditya Dhar, the film also stars Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles. Ranveer plays the role of a spy in the film who infiltrates the underworld in Pakistan as it features Akshaye as Rehman Dakait, Sanjay as Chaudhary Aslam, Arjun as Major Iqbal of the ISI and Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal.

With the release date of March 19 next year, Dhurandhar 2 will clash at the box-office with Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 and Yash’s Toxic.

Dhurandhar features music and background score by Shashwat Sachdev and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It has been shot by Vikash Nowlakha, edited by Shivkumar V. Panicker and produced by Jyoti Deshpande (Jio Studios), Aditya and Lokesh Dhar (B62 Studios).
