“Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS, on the air? Why do the TV Syndicates put up with it? Also, totally biased coverage. Get the bum off the air!!!,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

Trump’s latest attack on Kimmel came hours after the late-night host hit out at the US President over the release of the Epstein files.

“It is a Category 5. It’s expected to make landfall sometime very soon,” Kimmel said after the US Congress and Senate voted to make the Justice Department release the Epstein files.

“Trump hasn’t been this nervous about signing something since Don Junior’s birth certificate,” Kimmel said.

When Trump forced ABC to suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live

In September, the Trump administration forced ABC to suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live indefinitely over the host’s comments about the reaction from the US President, members of his cabinet, and other conservatives to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

According to Trump, Kimmel had said “a horrible thing” about Kirk.

“Jimmy Kimmel was fired because he had bad ratings more than anything else, and he said a horrible thing about a great gentleman known as Charlie Kirk,” Trump said, adding that “Jimmy Kimmel is not a talented person. He had very bad ratings, and they should have fired him a long time ago. So, you know, you can call that free speech or not. He was fired for lack of talent.”

After being criticised heavily for their actions, ABC News, which suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live over his September 15 episode, announced on September 22 that the show would be back on air the next day.
