Actors Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla on Sunday won the Munawar Faruqui and Sonali Bendre’s hosted Colors TV reality show Pati, Patni, Aur Panga. Besides winning the title, Rubina and Abhinav also took home a trophy.
During the show’s run, couples tested their chemistry and compatibility by participating in various games. Rubina and Abhinav emerged as the most compatible and loved pair on the show, sharing light-hearted as well as emotional moments. One particularly emotional moment came when Abhinav broke down while recalling how Rubina flew down immediately when his mother was diagnosed with cancer.
At the show’s premiere, while Abhinav Shukla had revealed that he gets to do very little talking in the marriage, he had admired Rubina Dilaik for being quite the hands-on wife and mother. In another episode, he had said, “Rubina is stubborn, but in a good way. Her stubbornness inspires me. She knows exactly what she wants and does not want. If anything doesn’t fit into her pattern, whether it’s a late-night party or something that interferes with her sleep, gym time, or shoot schedule, she’ll simply decline. And I really admire that. Not many individuals can do it. Her stubbornness is what keeps her disciplined, focused, and consistent.”
Before entering the show, Rubina had shared that both she and Abhinav are quite opinionated. She told Zoom TV that they are not a ‘mushy’ couple and tend to have strong viewpoints, but they always respect each other’s opinions.
Other than Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, other couples on the show were Gurmeet Choudhary-Debina Bonnerjee, Hina Khan-Rocky Jaiswal, Isha Malviya-Abhishek Kumar, Avika Gor-Milind Chandwani, Sudesh Lahiri-Mamta Lehri, Swara Bhaskar-Fahad Ahmad, and Geeta Phogat-Pawan Kumar.
Rubina and Abhinav Shukla got married in June 2021, and they welcomed their twin daughters, Jeeva and Edha, in November 2023.
