Rolls-Royce on Thursday signed an agreement with Bharat Forge Ltd to manufacture and supply fan blades for its Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines. The agreement, signed at Rolls-Royce’s Dahlewitz facility near Berlin, expands the long-standing collaboration between the two companies and supports Rolls-Royce’s plan to double its supply chain sourcing from India by 2030.
The new contract builds on the existing partnership under which Bharat Forge has been supplying parts for the Pearl 700 programme since 2020. The company delivered its first zero-defect fan blade in 2024, and the new deal extends this cooperation to include the Pearl 10X engine.
Strengthening aerospace supply chain

Expanding India’s aerospace capability
Bharat Forge is the first and only company in India to manufacture precision aerospace components used in the Pearl engine family. The company said the collaboration reinforces its focus on investing in high-precision manufacturing, innovation and sustainable aerospace solutions.
The Pearl 10X is the latest and most powerful engine in the Pearl family, producing over 18,000 pounds of thrust. It features Rolls-Royce’s Advance2 core and a high-performance low-pressure system aimed at efficiency in the business aviation segment.
Rolls-Royce’s operations in India span more than 90 years, including partnerships with local industry, academia and the defence sector. More than 1,400 Rolls-Royce engines currently power platforms across the Indian Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard and Army, supported by over 4,000 personnel in its local ecosystem.
