Effective 30/09/2025, Anand Vardhan has joined IndusInd Bank Limited as General Counsel. He brings over 25 years of extensive legal experience across premier business houses.
Before joining IndusInd, Anand served as Group General Counsel and President, Legal at Piramal Enterprises, and held senior legal positions at SUN-Apollo Ventures and HDFC Property Ventures.
Vardhan holds deep expertise in drafting, litigation, legal policies, and strategies relating to real estate, mortgage finance, banking, infrastructure, recoveries, consumer protection, dispute resolution, private equity, investment management, and venture capital funds.
In addition to serving as a General Counsel, Vardhan has also been designated as the Senior Management Personnel of the bank.
Vardhan is a graduate from Hansraj college and holds a law degree from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
