Srinagar, May 30 (KS): A 40-year old woman was electrocuted to death in Chrar-e-Shareef area in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a woman namely Shakeela Banoo wife of Ab Rashid Baba resident of Hafroo Batpora received electric shock at her residence.
He said that family members took her in a semi-unconscious state to PHC Hafroo Batpora where doctors on duty declared her dead.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation into the matter.
