CMF Phone 2 Pro coming on April 28: Here’s what we know so far | Technology News

Nothing has confirmed that it will be launching the CMF Phone 2 Pro later this month on April 28 alongside new wireless earbuds. If you are interested in the CMF Phone 1 successor, from chipset to design, here’s everything we know so far about the soon to be launched Android phone.

In a post on X, Nothing recently confirmed that the CMF Phone 2 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. Compared to its predecessor, the CMF Phone 1, the new chipset offers 10 per cent more CPU performance and gets a 5 per cent boost in the GPU department.

The chipset may be more or less the same, but Nothing says it lets users play BGMI at 120 FPS, supports 1,000Hz touch sampling rate and comes with a ‘+53% network boost.’ The phone is said to run on Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15 out of the box and come with 8GB of RAM. Nothing may also reduce the screen size from 6.67-inch to 6.3-inch.

On the design front, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will have an oval shaped camera island that houses a dual camera setup. Also, the CMF Phone 2 is rumoured to have a modular design like its predecessor, which allowed users to replace the back panel and attach a bunch of accessories like a stand and a lanyard.

According to the CMF Phone 2’s Flipkart listing page, Nothing will be launching the phone on April 28 at 6:30PM, but there is no news if it will cost the same or if it gets a significant price bump. However, speculations suggest that the phone may start from Rs 16,000.
