Srinagar, Feb 22: Security forces have busted a militant hideout in the Simbli Shajroo area of Mahore in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, recovering a cache of arms and ammunition, officials said on Thursday.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, a joint team of police and security forces launched a search operation in the rugged terrain of Mahore.
During the operation, a concealed hideout was discovered, and a thorough search led to the recovery of several war-like stores.
The seized items include four AK-47 magazines (one loaded, three empty), 268 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, four Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGLs) and four packets of detonators.
