Srinagar, Feb 21: To highlight the importance of World Day for Social Justice, Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organised various activities including illustration of life stories of national icons, film fest, and extempore speeches.
Aryans LLB and BA LLB students participated and portrayed various social issues and acts for this year’s theme ‘Empowering Inclusion: Bridging Gaps of Social Justice’.
Principal Aryans Anurag Dhiman while interacting with the students said that this day is observed every year on February 20 and recognises the need to promote social justice which refers to equal opportunities, distribution of wealth, and healthcare facilities within a society.
Faculty members Pritika, Fatima, Jaswant, and Saloni were present on the occasion.
The law students including Dhara, Avonpreet, Deepanshu, Jashan, Ujjwal, Yachna, Nishu, and Vanshika portrayed and illustrated the life stories of Indira Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, A P J Abdul Kalam, C V Raman, B R Ambedkar, Savitribai Phule, and Anna Sorabji and inspired all.
Aryans College of Law also organised a law film fest where various movies including ‘Pink’, ‘Rustam’, ‘Section 375’, ‘Chhapaak’, ‘Article 375’, and ‘Jai Bhim’ were taken as case studies.
