Edu Minister promises action against those responsible for playing with future of 22 students in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 15: Minister of Education, Sakina Itoo on Saturday said that strict actions will be taken against those played with the future of 22 students of a private school in Srinagar.

The minister said that she was closely and seriously watching the issue for last few days, and assured the future of 22 students of class 10th shall be secured.

She maintained that the authorities will ensure these students are allowed to appear in the examination.

Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) she said: “I am closely & seriously watching the issue for last 3 days, the future of the 22 students of class 10th shall be secured.  Action against those who have played with the future of these students shall be taken. Will ensure that these students are allowed to appear in the exams”.

The statement comes amid growing outrage over JKBOSE withholding the students’ admit cards despite clear directives from the High Court and the Chief Minister’s office.
