The Board of Directors of Shyam Century Ferrous Limited has appointed Ibaridor Katherine War as an Additional Director in the Independent Category of the Company for Three years effective from April 1, 2025, till March 31, 2028 subject to the approval of the members of the Company at the General Meeting and other applicable approvals.
The Company confirmed that Ibaridor Katherine War meets the criteria of independence as provided in Section 149(6) of the Act read with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 as amended.
Further clarifying that she is not related to any Directors of the Company and is not debarred from holding the office of Director under order of any Regulatory Authority.
She has a Bachelor of Laws and rich experience over 28 years in the legal area. She is a well-known lady and Legal Practitioner in Meghalaya.
She is also an Independent Director of Star Cement Limited.
