Srinagar, Dec 28: BJP Media Incharge Kashmir, Sajid Yousuf Shah, praised the people of Kashmir for their kindness in helping tourists who got stranded due to the ongoing snowfall, which has caused many difficulties across the region.
In a statement, Shah highlighted the strong tradition of hospitality in Kashmir, where locals opened their homes and mosques to provide shelter, food, and warmth to those in need. Despite the challenges of heavy snow, as well as water and power shortages, the people of Kashmir have shown great generosity, making the region proud, he added.
Shah also shared videos on his social media showing how local residents and mosque committees have been helping the stranded visitors.
