Rajouri, Dec 20: In an action against anti-national elements, the property of proclaimed offender Zia ul Rehman, resident of Samote Budhal Rajouri has been attached in Rajouri district.
Land belonged to Zia, a Pakistan-based handler, and measures 19 marlas and 5 sarsai and it has been attached, officials of police said in a statement.
“The attachment was carried out following the orders of the Hon’ble Court under the provisions of FIR No. 10/2021 U/S 2/3 of EIMCO Act registered at Police Station Budhal,” Police officials said.
The operation was conducted in the presence of revenue authorities, ensuring strict compliance with legal procedures, they said, further adding that the action underscores the firm resolve of Police to act against elements involved in activities detrimental to the nation’s security.
