Srinagar Dec 12: In a significant development, the authorities in the School Education Department (SED) have issued instructions to Chief Education Officers (CEO) for issuing in-service certificates to the aspirants of lecturer posts advertised by the J&K Public Service Commission (PSC).
Greater Kashmir in its Thursday edition reported about the issue and highlighted the inconvenience faced by the in-service employees of the School Education Department (SED) who complained of facing official hurdles while applying for the lecturer post earlier advertised by the J&K Public Service Commission (PSC).
The aspirants said that while applying for the lecturer posts online on the JKPSC website, they need to upload an in-service certificate to authenticate their services.
However, the same was being denied at the CEO offices, causing inconvenience to the aspirants.
In wake of this, the department has issued instructions to CEO offices to issue In- Service certificates in respect of the PSC aspirants.
“Issue in- Service certificates in respect of the PSC aspirants after checking all the relevant authenticated documents and Orders, enabling them to upload the application online for the posts advertised by JKPSC,” reads a Whatsapp message issued to CEOs.
The CEOs have been asked to advise the candidates that after filing in Online application Form, they should download the duly filled in Application Form and submit the same through proper channel, so that same can be forwarded to JKPSC, for treating them as In- service candidates.
