As part of the departmental activities, the Department of Music, Government College for Women, Udhampur under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell, on Friday screened a documentary on “Harmonium: Its History and how it works” here on the college campus.
The program was organized under the guidance and supervision of the college Principal Dr. Nalini Pathania and the Head of the Music Department Dr. Seema Sharma.
The Principal appreciated the efforts of the Music Department in creating awareness through the documentary and urged the Department to organize more such programmes in the near future.
Around 85 students of the first semester watched this informative documentary. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Shallu Jasrotia, Prof. Yash Kumar, Anita Sharma and Surinder Kour while the proceedings of the programme were carried out by Karuna Majotra.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Manisha Kumari.
