Tashi Rabstan begins tenure as 37th Chief Justice of J&K, Ladakh HC

Jammu, Sep 30: Justice Tashi Rabstan Monday began his tenure as the 37th Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

He took the Oath of Office on September 27, 2024.

The Chief Justice was formally received by Registrar General, High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Shahzad Azeem accompanied by Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice, M K Sharma, and officers and officials of the Registry.

The Chief Justice was presented with the guard of honour in the Jammu wing of the High Court, a time-honoured tradition that symbolises respect and allegiance.

This ceremony underscores the significance of the Chief Justice’s role in upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice is served.
