Nagrota, Sep 23: Twenty one cadets of the current batch of Class XII and 14 of the previous batches from Sainik School Nagrota have successfully cracked the prestigious UPSC NDA/NA II Written Examination held on Sep 1.
According to a press release, the results stand as a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence and the cadets’ unwavering dedication.
“The current batch of Class XII cadets demonstrated their mettle and the selected cadets are now focused on clearing the upcoming SSB interview, which is the next step in their journey to joining the National Defence Academy / Naval Academy. The success is attributed to the dedicated coaching, individualized mentoring, and rigorous preparation provided by the institution,” the press release said.
It added that under the leadership of Principal Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, who took over the command in May this year, Sainik School Nagrota realigned its strategy to achieve the primary objective of nurturing future military leaders. The school has implemented new measures to enhance academic rigour and personality development, ensuring cadets are well-prepared for the challenges of the NDA.

The institution has planned to provide comprehensive training and guidance to help cadets succeed in the forthcoming SSB interviews by roping in Ex-GTOs and Psychologists with vast and varied experience in this field.
