Rajouri, Oct 14: Four people, including three pilgrims, lost their lives while another pilgrim was injured in a road accident at Serli Katra area of Reasi district.
The accident, officials said, took place at Serli when an auto rikshaw and a bus collided head-on.
Officials stated that auto driver and three pilgrims were among four people who lost their lives in the accident.
They included auto driver Jeet Lal (50) son of Munshi Ram resident of Muttal, Udhampur; Bichitra Kumar (67) resident of Subarnapur, Odisha; Jogindra Matari (66) resident of Subarnapur, Odisha and Kabita Sahu (58) daughter of Rajkumar Das, resident of Subarnapur, Odisha.
The injured pilgrim has been identified as Snehalata Matari (56) resident of Odisha.
Police said that necessary legal proceedings and investigation were set into motion.
