Ramban, Feb 7: Ramban Police arrested three persons involved in stealing Automatic Trailer Machine (ATM), card and iron bars on Friday.
Police sources said Ramban Police have solved two separate theft cases, arresting the accused and recovering the stolen property in the police station jurisdiction of Ramban and Gool.
Police said Mohamnad Sharief son of Ghulam Nabi resident of village Sawani tehsil and District Ramban lodged a complaint at Police Station Ramban someone unknown person has stolen his ATM card and withdrawn Rs 20,000 from his bank account
They said accordingly a case FIR, number 14,of 2025 under relevant sections of BNS was registered at Police Station Ramban. The Police arrested the accused Imtiaz Ahmed son of Salam Din resident of Village Sundgali Maitra, Ramban.
In another instance Gool Police arrested two persons involved in stealing Iron bars of a citizen. Police said acting swiftly on the complaint Gool Police with the help of technical assistance and CCTV footage, apprehended two suspects. During questioning both the persons confessed their involvement in theft case
Police said Mohammad Ashraf son of Abdul Rashid Lohar resident of Jamslan Tehsil Mohore district Reasi and Mohammad Shafi resident of Ghagra Tata Pani Gool were arrested.They said on their disclosures Iron bars worth Rs 50,000/- have been recovered and seized by the Gool Police.Both persons were arrested vide case FIR, number 13 of 2025 under relevant sections of BNS, at Police Station Gool.
